Drums and Silence (2022)
Drums and Silence is an intimate collection of photographic, sculptural and archival imagery exploring the relational condition of people and place at night. Cal Mac's work freezes bodies that are present in a space for a fraction of time, giving significance to these temporary moments of human interaction. From melancholic to euphoric, Drums and Silence contemplates our need to connect, to escape and to belong.
